THIN LINE THICKENNING

every day starts with a
question mark and ends
with an exclamation point
or a comma or at least
the promise of another
question mark ?
i shove into the morning
on the morning train
and feel the splitting
of souls to separate yet
synchronous destinies
like a cosmic whoosh
exiting a tight vacuum
leaving room for little
but room for something
for no container exists
without space for some
thing?
