MOON AROUND THE RING

The Capricorn full moon
Punches holes through the
Patchwork of quilted clouds.
Skippers steer slow sloops
Through uncharted channels.
Smoke rises off the fires
Of the sun's re-reflection.
Stars, planets, planes
Play tag in the dark,
Gazing at my twinkling eyes.
